BUSINESS ACTIVITIES
Since commencing its business, CIDBEC has been principally involved in ICT, particularly in providing services for participants within the construction industry to embrace ICT in their business processes Under the directives of CIDB. Our business objectives are :

• To Promote and induce productivity in the construction industry through the use of ICT;
• Provide products and services for participants within the construction industry to embrace ICT in their business processes;
• Facilitate and develop the industry content and application over the internet for the construction industry in Malaysia;
• Create and develop business - to - business trade and services exchanges to facilitate electronic commerce within the construction industry; and
• extend its business geographical boundary to the regional countries.

PREVIOUS ACTIVITIES

Nationwide back-to-the-basics ICT awareness with CIDB, Work Ministry ( Entrepreneurs Division) and PKK, escorted by the Deputy Minister of Work (Over 1000 Class F contractors).

• Producing 11 international patent - pending construction IT innovations that can help raise productivity and improve contractor's business process.
• Producing in-house original software application for CIDB use.
• Producing 3 internet - based information exchange platform to encourage ICT usage like NeTI Tender Announcement.
• Producing internet - based intelligence based product to be used by CIDB and other government agencies.
• Producing consultancy work for various government and private agencies like Mampu's CIDB SISP, Prime Minister Department's Bumiputra Ecommerce study.
